Alcohol & Christianity

A friend of mine who doesn’t usually go to Church happened to go with a friend last Sunday. It was one of the bigger churches in this relatively-small town I live in. She told me the sermon was on alcohol. She told me a little about what the sermon was about.

The speaker went through several verses in the Old and New Testaments that pertain to alcohol, and then concluded that the Bible’s view of alcohol is a little unclear. At the end of the sermon, the speaker challenged everyone not to drink alcohol for a month, and…
