The Real Problem with Millennials

If you go onto Medium today you’ll find hundreds of articles about how to be your best, most productive self. Similarly, many articles on how to write. I thought this was a little funny, being on a platform created for writers. We’ve got all these writers writing about writing. And this, I think, exemplifies the “millennial” more than a lot of what’s attributed to us in the news. It’s not that we don’t do anything. It’s not that we don’t want to do anything, but we’re more concerned with how to do something perfectly, and forget to actually do it.

If this weren’t true, Medium would show me a lot less stories on how to write, and a lot more of people practicing their writing on something other than a “How to” article, which is still serving that same purpose.
